Only a year after their show at La Villette Zénith, the members of Fat Freddy’s Drop are coming back to the French capital.
This time, they expect you all in the legendary L’Olympia venue for one night and one night only on Monday November 18, 2019.
If you’ve never seen them live, it’s time to catch up. You really don’t want to miss their concert in Paris this Fall nor the ticketing service opening on Friday March 1, 2019 at 10 a.m. (GMT+1).
Including DJ and producer Fitchie (née Chris Faiumu), keyboard player Dobie Blaze (Iain Gordon), singer Joe Dukie (Dallas Tamaira), guitarist Jetlag Johnson (Tehimana Kerr) and brass instruments (trumpet, saxophone, trombone), the Fat Freddy’s Drop formation offers a corrosive musical genre merrily combining jazz, funk, dub, reggae and soul without having their music sounding like an unorganized dump.
This year, Fat Freddy’s Drop are preparing for the Album Release Tour and in their very own style, the album has no title nor release date to share, just the promise to offer fans a new studio album prior to the November tour.
And Fat Freddy’s Drop is first and foremost a stage band. Each of their concert is unique thanks to their constant improvisations! To see for yourself, meet this upcoming November 18 at Paris L’Olympia.
