It’s been already 20 years since The National has started playing music to our delighted ears thanks to the release of several albums including the latest one, “Sleep Well Beast”, that has been awarded the Grammy for “Best Alternative Music Album” in 2018.
To worthily celebrate this 20th anniversary, the American band The National has decided to hit the roads again with a new and very short tour.
Matt Berninger and his friends plan to perform a series of five intimate shows worldwide. On the menu? Shows in cities such as London, New York, Toronto and Los Angeles.
The National are also said to stop by Paris for an exceptional night that you don’t want to miss, on Tuesday April 16, 2019 at the Olympia, the only French concert of this tour.
Friends, here’s my piece of advice to you: don’t forget that tickets go on sale this Monday March 4, 2019 at 10 a.m. (GMT+1).
For the record, The National last Parisian concert was performed back in 2017. That year, the Americans took over the Grande Halle de la Villette as part of the Pitchfork Music Festival Paris. A few months before, they gave their fans an intimate concert at the Centquatre.
To (re)discover The National live, head to Paris Olympia on April 16, 2019!
