Missed them? Smile, because Vampire Weekend is back to delight your ears! Five years after their last concert in Paris, Ezra Koenig and his bandmates are announcing their comeback with the release of their fifth studio album and a European tour!
On the record front, Vampire Weekend will meet fans on April 5, 2024 to unveil the opus"Only God Was Above Us", already marked by the singles " Capricorn ", " Classical " and " Mary Boone ":
Vampire Weekend's last album to date, christened"Father of the Bride", was released in 2019. At the time, the album caused a sensation with tracks such as " Harmony Hall ", " Sunflower " and " This Life ". Proof of its success, the record was nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards, and won"Best Alternative Album", the second in the band's career!
On the tour front, Vampire Weekend will be hitting the roads of Europe this autumn, with stops in Dublin, Manchester, London, Glasgow and Amsterdam. In France, the New York band will be performing a one-off concert at theAdidas Arena in Paris on Friday, December 13, 2024.
