If you like genuine punk, we highly recommend you go to Gibus Paris on Friday December 6, 2019 for The Exploited’s show.
Famous hardcore punk Scottish band born in 1979, The Exploited owe their reputation to leader and singer Walter “Wattie” Buchan and his unique style: a delightful mix of metal punk. Proof of their fame, The Exploited influenced several thrash metal bands such as Anthrax.
The brutality and speed of music mix with anarchical-political-social lyrics. War, corruption, unemployment, police violence and even condemning the Conservative Party policy as led by Margaret Thatcher are themes that spread through their titles for over forty years.
Today, The Exploited count up to eight studio albums and seven live albums including their legendary show recorded in 1980 at the Edinburgh Nite Club.
To discover or rediscover them live on stage, meet on December 6 at Gibus Paris. And as guests of this show, you’ll have Spädes (X Syndicate).
So, ready to enjoy a good dose of Scottish punk?
