After causing a sensation at Lollapalooza Paris this summer 2019, The Strokes are back in town with an exclusive and last-minute show. Save the date! Julian Casablancas, Nick Valensi, Albert Hammond Jr. and the rest of the band expect you all on Tuesday February 18, 2020 for an exclusive show at the legendary Olympia.
And we have to say that tickets – on sale this Wednesday February 5 at 11 a.m. (CET) – may sell like hot cakes. And for good reasons, The Strokes became in a few years only the unmissable New York rock band with the release of their first record, “This is it” in 2001 then “Room on Fire” in 2003 and even “First Impressions of Earth” three years later. Some fans don’t hesitate to consider them as the worthy heirs of Velvet Underground and Television. Just to say their international fame.
This winter, they’re back on stage with a new album to discover soon and several shows. In addition to Paris, The Strokes will also perform for some summer festivals in Europe like the Primavera Sound Festival in Spain, the Werchter Festival in Belgium and Garorock in France.
