Paris Plages returns this year from July 18 to the end of August 2020, in a format adapted to the current health context.
To open the event, a number of events have been announced, including a cinema session on the water, as well as free concerts by theOrchestre de chambre de Paris.
On Saturday, July 18, 2020, the Orchestrede chambre de Paris will perform at 11 a.m. on the Berges de Seine (near the Péniche Marcounet) and at 4:30 p.m. on the Bassin de la Villette (near the restaurant La Criée).
These two free 45-minute performances will pay tribute to Clément Janequin's Cris de Paris, with a selection of songs about Paris in new arrangements for horns, trumpets and trombone.
