As Asaf Avidan uncovered on September 11 his latest album “Anagnorisis”, the artist is said to take over Paris Grand Palais for a show behind closed doors. Even though the event was to be streaming live on November 5, 2020, it has been delayed.

This is quite a unique venue Asaf Avidan will take over on October 30, 2020. Israeli writer-composer-performer will perform an exclusive show in the Nave of the Grand Palais as part of the Live Me If You Can musical event, the digital show creating live in atypical venues.

Because of the health context, and the coronavirus crisis, this live show will be filmed behind closed doors. Yet, 50 training nurses from the AP-HP will be able to attend this exclusive event.

Asaf Avidan will make the most of the recording to perform some tracks from his latest album, out on September 11. Called “Anagnorisis”, Asa Avidan’s 7th album is both varied and complex. The artist did not hesitate to draw in varied and unexpected musical genres such as 1990’s hip-hop, modern pop, or even gospel… in order to deliver 10 tracks filled with emotions and authenticity.
The opus has been recorded with his musical partner, Tamir Muskat, between Tel-Aviv and the Italian countryside.

For the biggest fans, the entire live session will be out on the digital show’s YouTube channel on November 5.

In the meantime, we leave you to it with Asaf Avidan’s hypnotizing musical universe:
