ICI C’EST PRAIRIE, new green street festival in Paris: DJ set, concerts, roller dance etc.

Holidays are coming to an end or do you need a nice morale booster? Do not put on a long face, you will not regret. Paris knows how to rock you on a daily basis with crazy concepts expecting us all year around. Among the great deals you do not want to miss, here is a new festival coming to the gates of the city (and within metro reach!).

ICI C'EST PRAIRIE expects you on September 3 and 4, 2022, for the first edition at the Prairie du Canal in Bobigny, not far from the Raymond Queneau station, on metro line 5. Here, ecology and street culture will be given pride of place through an original program, likely to make you all very happy. On the menu of this first event, enjoy music, sport and culture.

So, what to expect, then? Open-air DJ sets, rap shows, street food, a hip-hop village with the Britney Market specialized in 90’s street wear, roller dance hosted by Flaneurz, gardening workshops, a climbing wall and even initiations to parkour, breakdance and street workout.

Speaking of which, if you have a green thumb, ICI C’EST PRAIRIE is also a green festival. Initiated by La Sauge and in partnership with Maytea, this is the occasion to discover and take part in eco-friendly projects. For instance, as part of the “Lignes vertes” operation this summer, both brands have launched an initiative to bring more greenery to terraces and balconies in the city. By bringing recyclable RPET bottles back, you will leave the festival with a free plant. A good deed with a great reward.
