The Pop & Psy festival returns to Paris this autumn with a new edition to be discovered from Friday, October 11 to Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Ground Control, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. On the program: round tables and discussions on mental health, as well as workshops and evening events.
Combining mental health with pop music is the original idea behind the Pop & Psy festival, which returns to Paris from Friday, October 11 to Sunday, October 13, 2024. Throughout the festival, which is accessible free of charge upon reservation, participants can exchange views on the subject of their mental health, through round tables, discussions and workshops. They can then unwind with several concerts and dj sets. The event takes place at Ground Control, a famous spot in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, near the Gare de Lyon.
The aim of this not-for-profit cultural and scientific event is to dispel preconceived ideas about psychiatry, but also to free speech and promote inclusion. The festival is the brainchild of Dr. Jean-Victor Blanc, a psychiatrist at APHP, Florence Trédez, a journalist with Elle, andEmmanuelle Fellous. The Pop & Psy event is also supported by the Falret Foundation, which works to help people in psychological distress.
Over the three days at Ground Control, you'll be able to talk to experts, concerned individuals and artists, highlighting the innovative solutions that exist. Please note that the festival is free of charge, but subject to availability. So don't forget to book.
