So what can we expect on this new Björk tour in Europe? The"Cornucopia" show, which started as a residency at The Shed in New York, was built around Björk's previous album"Utopia". For the new"Cornucopia" tour, the original show, which covers Björk's entire musical repertoire, has been reworked to also feature tracks from her latest album"Fossora". Released on September 30, 2022, Björk 's 10th album was inspired by various events in her life recently, starting with the death of her mother in 2018, followed by confinements related to the health crisis and the departure from home of her youngest son.
At this unique Björk concert in Paris, also expect to discover bewitching digital visuals and a custom reverb chamber. Finally, on stage, Björk will be surrounded by an ensemble of 7 flutes, clarinetists, a harpist, percussionists, and electronic/custom instruments.
As a reminder, Björk 's last Parisian concert was in June 2022. That summer, the unavoidable Nordic artist was at the Seine Musicale for her"Björk Orchestral" tour. A magical and bewitching show to relive here.
In September 2023, Björk will propose a new scenography for a new tour eagerly awaited by her fans. To live this fabulous musical journey in Icelandic land, see you on September 8, 2023 at the Accor Arena in Paris.
