The Modfather is back ! Yes, friends, Paul Weller is planning to return to a Parisian stage after 5 years of absence. So get your diaries out, the founding leader of The Jam and The Style Council plans to take over the beautiful Salle Pleyel for a one-off Parisian concert on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
Considered one of the most important musicians in British pop music, Paul Weller has been leading a very diversified solo career for over 30 years now. Always eager to try new things, he never stops experimenting with new musical styles and has collaborated with Noel Gallagher, Robert Wyatt, Danny Thompson and The Stuart Kennedy Orchestra, among others, on the 2018 album"True Meanings".
Needless to say, this Parisian concert will be an opportunity to relive some of his greatest hits live, including those from his 2021 opus,"An Orchestrated Songbook", recorded with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. More recently, Paul Weller unveiled"Will Of The People", a compilation of unreleased tracks recorded between 2002 and 2021.
