The day of March 16, 2023 was undoubtedly marked by the adoption of the bill on pension reform by the 49.3, by the booing at the National Assembly during the speech of the Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne and by the spontaneous demonstration organized at Place de la Concorde in Paris.
Another moment, a musical one, also made people talk. Just a few hours after the use of Article 49.3, the singer-songwriter Gauvain Sers was keen to speak out on his Facebook page. Currently on tour, the artist, known for his commitments, decided to call out Emmanuel Macron with a song entitled"Monsieur le Président".
In this video of 3 minutes 42, we discover Gauvain Sers facing the camera, guitar in hand, and installed at the Jean-Vilar cultural center of Marly-le-Roi; room where he performed this Thursday night. "On this day of pension reform adopted by force via the 49.3, I wanted to sing my little letter to Mr. President", explains the singer and musician before starting his song.
Evoking the anger of citizens, Gauvain Sers does not hesitate to refer to the past of the President of the Republic, as a banker at Rothschild. " We do not lead France as we lead a bank," said the artist who is scheduled to perform in Paris on April 3 and 4, 2023 at La Cigale.
We let you discover the entire song in this video.
We remind you that the inter-union called for a new day of strike and demonstration on March 23.
