Nuits de Fourvière 2023: Indochine in surprise concert on July 29

Festival-goers certainly didn't see it coming! On Wednesday July 19, Lyon's Nuits de Fourvière festival put a smile on their faces by announcing a surprise Indochine concert on Saturday July 29, 2023, when the festival was originally scheduled to end on July 28.

" Surprise! Seventeen years after their last appearance at Les Nuits, the legendary pop-rock band Indochine have decided to give an exceptional concert on the Grand Théâtre stage on Saturday, July 29, 2023," the Lyon festival's social networks and website read. " With their festival tour sold out, Indochine will be offering an exclusive concert adapted to the Nuits de Fourvière stage," it adds.

Needless to say, this last-minute surprise concert byIndochine is sure to delight not only Nuits de Fourvière festival-goers, but also the many Parisian and Ile-de-France fans of the band led by Nicola Sirkis, who are sure to flock to this exclusive musical event. For those interested, please note that tickets are due to open on Friday July 21 at 11am, exclusively on the official Nuits de Fourvière website. Tickets cost 58 euros.

On their Instagram page, Indochine specify that the concert will last 2h30 (from 9pm to 11:30pm), with doors opening at 7:30pm.

Indochine, more accustomed to large venues and stadiums, are currently in the midst of a summer festival tour. After concerts at the Nuit de l'Erdre, the Eurockéennes de Belfort, Beauregard, Musilac, Déferlantes and the Pause Guitare festival, Indochine will be giving a last-minute concert at the Nuits de Fourvière on July 29, with a show " adapted " to the big stage of the Théâtre Antique de Fourvière.

Good news for Nuits de Fourvière festival-goers, who in recent weeks have already been able to attend concerts by Michel Polnareff, The Black Keys, Queens of the Stone Age, Benjamin Biolay, Zazie, Ben Harper, Sigur Ros and Deluxe.
