It's THE cultural event that many fans and enthusiasts look forward to every summer. A truly multidisciplinary festival (theater, music, dance, cinema), Les Nuits de Fourvière takes place at the Théâtre Antique de Fourvière (seating capacity 2,600 to 4,500) in Lyon's 5th arrondissement, and has been doing so since 1946! Every summer, the festival presents nearly 60 performances for over one hundred and thirty thousand spectators.
After a highly successful 2024 edition, featuring concerts by PJ Harvey, MC Solaar, Véronique Sanson, Air, Zaho de Sagazan, Alain Souchon, Patti Smith, IDLES and LCD Soundsystem, the Nuits de Fourvière festival is announcing its return in 2025.
This summer, from June 2 to July 26, 2025, the famous music festival will once again invade the city of Lyon, with a line-up featuring a host of national and international artists. Just take a look at the first names confirmed for this 2025 edition of Les Nuits de Fourvière!
The Libertines will be on hand for an exclusive concert on July 10, 2025. It's a chance to catch up with Pete Doherty and Carl Barât as they rock out to a whole new level.
Other names confirmed by the Nuits de Fourvière festival? French singer-songwriter and musician Ben Mazué, expected in Lyon on June 27. Indian sitarist and artist Anoushka Shankar will also be present at the festival, for a unique evening announced for July 18. Finally, singer and pianist Chilly Gonzales will be putting on a show on July 24!
So when is the full line-up due to be announced? And when will it be possible to reserve tickets? The Lyon-based festival reveals that the full program will be unveiled on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
