Despite a late opening (more than an hour late on the official program), fans turned out in force for Busta Rhymes ' wild show (another American Hip Hop legend)! Theartist warmed up the room, with an unfortunate pause before the arrival of the headliner.
Celebrating two decades of"Get Rich or Die Tryin'", rapper 50 Cent skilfully blends nostalgia and contemporary energy, uniting die-hard fans with the new generation.
The vibrantarena brought together a diverse audience, testifying to theartist 'stimeless influence on hip-hop culture. The show was more than a concert, it was a sensory experience: from the shrill sirens announcing 50 Cent's entrance, to the striking light effects accompanying every rhythm and rhyme.
The medley of hits such as"Candy Shop","In Da Club" and"Down on me" (with singer Jeremih on stage) was not just a recital of hits, but a veritable theatrical spectacle, with backdrops evoking Brooklyn, Paris, the world of cabarets and the starry sky. The stage, animated by dancers and enhanced by the presence of live musicians, offered an extra dimension to the concert usually dominated by pre-recorded tracks.
50 Cent, as maestro of the show, played with the scenography, notably with his outfit changes worthy of an act of prestidigitation, adding a layer of glamour with his Louis Vuitton designer clothes (visible everywhere, including by Busta Rhymes). Despite the sparkle of the diamonds, the glitter of the confetti and the sometimes exuberant dancing, theartist's imposing, powerful stage presence captured the attention of a passionate audience.
Admittedly, the concert had its downtime, inherent in the very nature of a show of this scale, but theenergy of 50 Cent and his guests, including a poignant tribute to Pop Smoke, kept the audience on its toes. As the finale with"In Da Club" seemed to conclude the evening, the rapper surprised his audience with a generous encore, leaving those present with the impression of having been part of a landmark event, although some would have liked to have immersed themselves even longer in the electric atmosphere.
