For those who don't know, Héritier Watanabe, aka Héritier Wata, is a singer, dancer and singer-songwriter from Kinshasa. After making a name for himself for 16 years through the group Wenge Musica Maison Mère de Werrason, the artist decided to resign in 2015 in order to embark on a solo career. It was in 2016 that Héritier Wata unveiled his first single entitled"B.M", quickly rewarded by receiving the title of"Best Song of the Year" at the Hapa Music Awards in the United States. A few months later, he released his first album,"Carrière d'honneur - Retirada".
We'll have to wait until 2020 for his second album, conceived as a double disc, the second part of which will be released in 2021. Since March 15, Héritier Wata has been at the helm of a new, third studio opus. Entitled"Chemin de la gloire", the album features a range of musical genres, from Congolese rumba to Afrobeat. It includes the eponymous single.
