After having thrilled numerous spectators and television viewers at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games, Air continues to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its"Moon Safari" opus.
In March 2024, the electro group from Versailles took over the Olympia to play their acclaimed 1998 debut album live for the very first time. Following their success, Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel returned to the capital in June. This time, they were invited by the Days Off Festival to bring their electro tunes to the Philharmonie de Paris.
In 2025, Air will be making a comeback in Paris, with two concerts scheduled at the Salle Pleyel on Tuesday March 25 and Wednesday March 26. For the occasion, the French duo will once again perform tracks from their cult album"Moon Safari"! In response to strong demand, a new, third date has been added, on Thursday March 27, 2025, again at the Salle Pleyel.
For the uninitiated and the young at heart, Air is made up of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel. Formed in 1995, the band released their first album,"Moon Safari", in 1998. It includes the hit"Sexy Boy". Air would go on to release several other albums, including"10,000 Hz Legend" and"Love 2", not to mention the soundtrack to Sofia Coppola's film"Virgin Suicides". But"Moon Safari" remains the duo's biggest hit, selling 2 million copies worldwide!
So, if you missed them at the Olympia and then at the Philharmonie de Paris, now's your chance to catch up. This time, Air will be at Salle Pleyel on March 25, 26 and 27, 2025.
