The Cure: discover their new album at a live streaming concert

The Cure are back in stores this Friday with "Songs Of A Lost World", their 14th studio opus. To mark the occasion, the British band led by Robert Smith will be giving an intimate concert at the Troxy in London on November 1, the day the new album is released. The show is free to follow via live streaming on Youtube.

Fans of The Cure are in the starting blocks. This Friday, November 1, 2024, the famous British band will release"Songs Of A Lost World". A long-awaited record, as it is the first album since"4:13 Dream", released in 2008, 16 years ago.

In anticipation of the full release of their 14th studio opus, The Cure have already unveiled the singles " Alone " and " A Fragile Thing ".

Fans are now hoping for The Cure 's return to the stage. For the moment, no official tour announcement has been made, but rumors are rife. Concerts in autumn 2025 have been mooted.

While we await the announcement of a possible European tour for the band in 2025, The Cure are due to give an intimate show at the Troxy in London this Friday, November 1. It's an opportunity for Robert Smith and his bandmates to present the tracks from"Songs of a Lost World" live for the first time. And as The Cure are keen to share this moment on stage with as many people as possible, the British band has announced that this unique concert will be broadcast live worldwide, free of charge.

France Inter has been offering special programming dedicated to The Cure since the start of the week. On Friday November 1, the day of the release of the album"Songs of a Lost World", several radio moments are announced. First of all, at 7:23 a.m., Aline Afanoukoé will present a chronicle dedicated to the album. From 9pm onwards, it's time for the " Et je remets le son " program, with several guests talking about their passion for the band. Guests include Béatrice Dalle, Zaho de Sagazan, Télérama journalist Hugo Cassavetti and Richard Bellia, the group's photographer. Finally, at 10pm, Bernard Lenoir's famous " Black Sessions " program features a live performance by The Cure from 2004.
