Cover bands continue their invasion of France. After tribute bandsdedicated to Queen, ABBA, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Neil Young and Kate Bush, another cover band is about to set up shop in Paris! Zakk Sabbath, the Black Sabbath cover band, plans to take over L'Élysée Montmartre for a one-off concert scheduled for Monday, March 10, 2025.
Launched in 2014, Zakk Sabbath today features Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne) on vocals and guitar, Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie) on bass and Joey Castillo (Danzig, Queens of the Stone Age) on drums.
In 2025, Zakk Sabbath will be back on the road. While a U.S. tour has been announced for late 2024 and early 2025, the Black Sabbath cover band led by Zakk Wylde will be heading to Europe this spring. In Paris, there's just one date on the menu: March 10 at L'Élysée Montmartre. Tickets go on sale on Friday November 22 at 10am.
A chance to sing along to countless Black Sabbath hits, covered and performed by Zakk Sabbath. These included, of course, " Paranoid ", " Evil Woman ", " Iron Man ", " War Pigs " and " Heaven and Hell ".
Black Sabbath's last concert dates back to February 2017 in Birmingham, where it all began. Meanwhile, Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary frontman of the British heavy metal band, was inducted as a solo artist into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This took place on October 19. To mark the occasion, a musical tribute was paid to Ozzy by Robert Trujillo (Metallica), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Wolfgang Van Halen, Maynard James Keenan (Tool), Billy Idol and, of course, Zakk Wylde.
On March 10, 2025 in Paris, several of Black Sabbath's legendary songs will resound at L'Élysée Montmartre, thanks to the appearance of cover band Zakk Sabbath!
