Can Kate Bush fans look forward to their idol's return to record stores and the stage? For the time being, the suspense remains. But the British icon, who began her career in 1978 with the opus"The Kick Inside", made a few confidences at the end of October 2024. In an interview with the BBC, Kate Bush said she was"very motivated" to release a new album."I'm very motivated to work on a new album. I've got lots of ideas. I'm really looking forward to getting back into this creative space. It's been a long time," she told the BBC.
In anticipation of a possible comeback for the artist, who hasn't released an album since 2011's"50 Words for Snow", the Parisian venue Le Trianon will host a special evening in 2026 entitled"The Music of Kate Bush". This tribute concert to the legendary English singer will feature Cloudbusting on stage.
Considered one of the most famous tribute bands ever to honor Kate Bush's repertoire, Cloudbusting has a special distinction. The tribute band has a special bond with Kate Bush's historic collaborators. In fact, they are the only tribute band to have had the honor of playing her songs alongside Del Palmer, her bassist and resident sound engineer, as well as Preston Heyman, drummer and percussionist on the"Never For Ever" and"The Dreaming" albums.
Proof of its reputation, Cloudbusting has also shared the stage with Stewart Avon-Arnold, Kate Bush's choreographer and dance partner in numerous videos.
On Saturday, January 24, 2026, Cloudbusting will take to the stage at the Trianon in Paris for a unique Kate Bush tribute concert, featuring the voice of Mandy Watson. It's an opportunity to relive some of the artist's many legendary songs live. These include, of course, " Running Up That Hill ", " Babooshka ", " King of the Mountain ", " Snowflake " and " Army Dreamers ".
To be among the first to reserve your seats, don't miss the box office opening on Wednesday November 6 at 10am.
