As part of Seattle's famous Big Four, alongside Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, Nirvana made a real impact on an entire generation in the 90's, thanks to its edgy grunge sound and charismatic frontman Kurt Cobain, who died on April 5, 1994, aged just 27.
For die-hard fans of the American band, we've got good news! Go to Paris, and more precisely to the Zénith La Villette, on Thursday, March 27, 2025 to discover live some of Nirvana's most famous songs covered on stage by Nirvana UK, the first Tribute Band dedicated to Kurt Cobain's band.
In recent years, Tribute Bands, or cover bands, have taken over European venues in droves. There are, of course, those paying tribute to the hits of ABBA and Queen, but also those covering songs by the Beatles, U2 or Pink Floyd.
In 2025, there will be a new tribute band, Nirvana UK, billed as"The premier Nirvana Tribute Band", and intent on paying tribute to the legendary American grunge band and its leader, who left far too soon.
