Cavaquinhos concert with the students of the Roda do Cavaco association
Discover the cavaquinho, small instrument pillar of the Brazilian music - king of choro and samba - with a concert of the students of the association Roda do Cavaco.
Yaô concert + guest Tomaz Miranda
Created in Paris in 2017 by the meeting of four musicians, two French and two Brazilian, passionate about Choro, Brazilian instrumental musical genre, the group YAO revisits the repertoire inherited from the great Jacob do Bandolim, Pixinguinha or Luis Americano but also interpret the new compositions, brought by contemporary musicians of the style and in full activity in Brazil. Keeping the traditional formation of the choro, the group will also make you discover other rhythms like the Ijexá, Quebra-Pratos, Maculelê and Samba.
Concert of Roda do Cavaco
Pagoda, in Brazilian Portuguese, means a meeting of musicians who gather around a table to celebrate with music. It is in this convivial atmosphere that Roda do Cavaco gives to hear and to see a powerful pagoda, supported by a jubilant rhythmic section. To the original compositions are mixed covers of the great sambists as Zeca Pagodinho, Grupo Fundo de Quintal, Paulinho da Viola. São Paulo, Rio and Paris, Roda do Cavaco draws a link between these three cities for the pleasure of an ever growing audience.
