Mythologies, Angelin Preljocaj's monumental show, at La Seine Musicale in June 2025

Having performed in the most prestigious Parisian, French and international theaters, the celebrated choreographer Angelin Preljocaj brings his ballet to La Seine Musicale for Mythologies, his show already presented at the Théâtre du Châtelet in 2022.

Set to a musical score by Thomas Bangalter (ex-member of Daft Punk), the Preljocaj ballet presents Mythologies for the first time at the Seine Musicale, a dance show combining satyrdom and references to Greek divinities. In all, some twenty tableaux take the audience from the myth of Icarus to that of Aphrodite, via the legends surrounding Zeus and the mythologies of Mount Olympus.

Preljocaj makes the ancient mythological imagination dance, to the point of questioning our present-day society. The result is a contemporary dance performance by the choreographer, with set design by Adrien Chalgard, lighting effects by Eric Soyer, costume design by Adeline André and video by Nicolas Clauss.

Performances take place from June 25 to 29, 2025, once a day (8:30 p.m. single performance slot): prices range from €106 to €118 for a Gold category seat, €82 to €92 for a Category 1 seat, €67.50 to €75 for a Category 2 seat, and €40 to €45 for a Category 3 seat.
