L'air de rien is the new show to be discovered by French actor Jean-Paul Rouve at L'Olympia on October 13 and 14, 2025 in Paris, followed by a tour of the rest of France. L'air de rien is set to pay tribute to French music through a musical and literary show, led by Jean-Paul Rouve and Alain Lanty on piano.
In his show, Jean-Paul Rouve aims to bring a new way of telling the story of a man to the stage, through the medium of French chanson. An admirer of French artists such as Balavoine, Renaud, Barbara, France Gall and Eddy Mitchell, his show L'air de rien revisits the songs that have marked the history of French chanson.
Jean-Paul Rouve, French actor, director and screenwriter, started out in the Robins des Bois troupe, gaining popularity in the 1990s with their offbeat comedy sketches. His film career took off with 2002's Monsieur Batignole, for which he won the César for Best New Actor. The actor is also famous for his role as Jeff Tuche in the comedy saga Les Tuche, and the cult comedy Nos Jours Heureux. Jean-Paul Rouve has also taken part in a number of plays, culminating in his own show J'ai pas l'air in 2022, also paying tribute to French chanson, and returning to the stage today with a new show, L'air de rien.
