Tango lovers beware! The London phenomenon Tango After Dark arrives in Paris from October 16 to 18, 2025 at the Salle Pleyel. The dance show is choreographed and performed by world champions and true international tango stars Germán Cornejo and Gisela Galeassi, accompanied on stage by eight other dancers.
In a sensual, intimate performance, Tango After Dark takes you on a musical journey, with live music by composer Astor Piazzolla. On stage, in addition to the ten dancers, seven musicians and two singers await the curious or tango enthusiasts, for what should be a colorful show.
Described as "fabulous choreography" by The Times, Tango After Dark features tango dancer Germán Cornejo, founder of the internationally acclaimed show Tango Fire, as well as Argentine tango dancerGisela Galeassi , who went on to win several prestigious competitions, including the World Tango Championship in 2003.
The music ofAstor Piazzolla is sure to appeal to many, as the Argentine composer and bandoneonist is renowned for revolutionizing tango by integrating elements of jazz and classical music, thus creating "tango nuevo". Piazzolla is considered one of the most emblematic and innovative artists in Latin American music, and it is to his music that the ten artists will dance on stage in Tango After Dark at the Salle Pleyel in Paris. The show is aimed at adults and young adults who love tango, or are curious to discover this Argentine dance.
