The Universal Declaration of Human Rights turns 70 this year. On the occasion the Musée de l’Homme has come up with ‘En Droits!’ [In Rights!], a season filled with exhibitions entirely dedicated to the UDHR.
From February 13 to June 30, 2019, curious visitors can discover the ‘J’ai le Droit d’avoir des Droits’ [I have the Right to have Rights] exhibition giving pride of place to street art. Nine street-artists (Dugudus, Zag & Sìa, Lek & Sowat, Goin, Swoon, Madame, Dénis Meyers) are invited to reinterpret an article of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
To do so, every Sunday, from January 13 to February 10, 2019, the public is invited to a tour-show and attend the live birth of a work. Six works will appear in the museum to – step by step – leading to the ‘J’ai le droit d’avoir des droits’ exhibition.
