Attention contemporary art lovers! Since May 19, 2021, the Pernod Ricard Foundation has been inviting you to open its doors. A cultural Mecca located in the 8th arrondissement, a stone's throw from the Gare Saint-Lazare train station, the Foundation, which was set up over 20 years ago,"continues to support the young contemporary art scene, making it accessible to as many people as possible".
This beautiful address enables the Fondation d'entreprise to promote artists in a 300 m2 exhibition space, but also in a 112-seat auditorium and a modular hall, the Traverse, with a view to hosting performances and exhibitions. Alongside this, Café Mirette, run by the Pantruchoise team(Franck Baranger, Pauline Labrousse, Nicolas Chatellain and Édouard Bobin), awaits you for a gourmet break all day long. A café that also shares its space with a library and bookshop open to the public.
For his opening exhibition, artist Bertrand Dezoteux was given carte blanche to showcase 15 artists. And this rather zany artist decided not to make a selection. Instead, he generated an algorithm that gave him 15 names of young artists from the French scene. Thus was born the exhibition Le Juste Prix.
