100% L'EXPO 2024: dates and programme of the free contemporary exhibition at La Villette

It's become a tradition in the art world: every year, La Villette welcomes young artists to a free festival open to all. 100% L'Expo is a cultural event featuring installations, sculptures and photographs, representing the work of tomorrow's leading artists. And this year, this major exhibition awaits you from March 27 to April 28, 2024.

A highlight of the festival, 100% L'EXPO brings together some fifty young artists who have just completed their studies for a multi-disciplinary group show that mixes plastic arts, installations, cinema, videos, design, photography, fashion, performances... For these artists, it's a great opportunity to meet visitors, and for art schools, it's a great opportunity to showcase their courses and career prospects.

Once again this year, some fifty talented young artists, fresh out of new schools, will be showcased. The Expo takes place at the Grande Halle, and is complemented by various artistic and festive events.

To respect our environment, 100% L'EXPO 's scenography is entirely made up of recycled elements, in line with an eco-responsible approach dear to the institution and to these artists who often question our future and that of the planet.

  Cannibales is the first creation by Angels' Front, a performance group founded by artist and director Flora Bouteille. The performance is conceived as a constantly evolving play device, shaped by performances and interactions with audiences. The project explores the dynamics of cannibalistic predation in capitalist society, the role of cameras and the redefinition of the contemporary subject.

  La Villette invites the Ateliers Médicis, a venue for artistic creation and residencies in Clichy-sous-Bois and Montfermeil, for an afternoon of meetings and performances.
