The FoRTE exhibition returns for a 6th edition at the Frac Île-de-France reserves: the region presents works by the winners of the Fonds régional des talents émergents, from November 30, 2024 to January 18, 2025.

Lovers of contemporary art will meet up at the Frac Île-de-France reserves in Romainville to discover the young talents and great artists of tomorrow. Once again, these creators, aged between 18 and 30, will be showcased in the FoRTE#6 exhibition, organized from November 30, 2024 to January 18, 2025. This free exhibition showcases the work of the visual arts laureates of the new promotion of the Fonds régional des talents émergents (FoRTE). This special grant, awarded to young French and international artists, was created on the initiative of the Île-de-France Region and co-financed by the French Ministry of Culture.

Each year, this fund gives around forty artists the means to produce their first work in the region, thanks to substantial financial support, as well as professional accompaniment throughout their creation, for one year. Visual arts, cinema and audiovisual arts, performing arts, music: the range of possibilities is vast, and the works on offer are each more different than the last.

For this sixth edition of the FoRTE exhibition, 10 winners were selected by the jury from the hundreds of entries received. These young artists are honored in a free exhibition installed in the FRAC Île-de-France reserves.

The artists featured in this exhibition explore the limits of reality and its alternatives. They honor cultural traditions, question our heritage, invent new futuristic utopias or are alarmed by the worlds that can be created in the virtual world... These young creators give birth to languages, revive the songs of endangered birds...

Their creativity and their new tools enable them to invent these new and fascinating works, exhibited this winter in the reserves of the Frac de Romainville.

Alongside the exhibition, Frac Île-de-France is also offering a series of artistic events linked to the works on display:
