Cowboy hat or bibi, bowler hat, cap, top hat, sombrero or boater: this Friday, November 29, 2024, get out your best headgear, and don't be afraid to overdo it! The Palais Galliera is organizing a competition to find the most beautiful hat, and is offering free admission to visitors who wear a hat during a special nocturne.
This Friday evening, from 6pm, the Paris Fashion Museum opens its doors for the night. The exhibition devoted to Stephen Jones,"Chapeaux d'artiste", is open free of charge throughout the evening... Provided you're wearing a hat. Don't cheat: hoods, bonnets, scarves and veils don't count!
This special evening is a chance to bring hats back into fashion. As the exhibition at the Palais Galliera shows, hats can take many shapes, be adorned with a thousand colors and accessories, to make our heads unique and much more fashionable.
For one evening, visitors can admire theexhibition highlighting the work of milliner Stephen Jones, and have their photo taken at the museum for a chance to win the exhibition catalog.
Wearing your best hat, strike a pose in the courtyard of honor or in the exhibition rooms, and publish your photo in a story or Instagram post, mentioning the Palais Galliera's official account, and the hashtag #ExpoStephenJones. The three most spectacular hats of the evening will be declared winners!
