Grande Arche rooftop temporarily closes

Because of the new health restrictions, the rooftop of the Grande Arche closes starting October 1. This cultural venue can no longer receive people safely because of coronavirus. This closure is only temporary, the Grande Arche rooftop hopes to be able to reopen as soon as conditions are more favorable.

Sad news for the  Grande Arche rooftop: the new restrictions implemented by the government announced on Wednesday September 23, 2020 now prevent it from receiving people safely. The City One 111 group – exploiting the rooftop of the Grande Arche – has decided to temporarily close the place, starting from October 1, 2020 and until further notice.

In a press release, City One 111 is deeply sorry to have to close the rooftop of the Grande Arche after four years of exhibitions and cultural events. The economic and health crisis caused by Covid-19 has cancelled many events. City One 111 also talks about a dropping frequentation rate: visitors are no longer coming over and the ban of gatherings make it even more difficult.

But this is no goodbye. City One 111 president Corinne de Conti guarantees it is about “preparing to move ahead, when there will be fewer bans and the situation will enable us to receive visitors, our friends and followers as usual. Thank you for your support”.

You have a few days left to enjoy the Grandeur Nature exhibition and La City restaurant. Until next time.
