About 150 paintings are given pride of place in this exhibition telling the evolution of Paul Signac as an artist and a collector. From his debuts as a young artist with limited finances and growing friendships with impressionist painters of this time, enjoy Signac’s life.

Monet, Paul Cézanne, Edgar Degas, Gustave Caillebotte, Camille Pissarro, Pierre Bonnard, Henri Matisse, Armand Guillaumin… Paul Signac’s collection is a loyal reflection of the art scene of his time. Yet, you can notice bias and commitments of the artist who gives pride of place to his peers, leaving more great names or artistic movements of the mid-19th century behind, although a few paintings are surprising.
