Dream of Egypt, our photos of the exhibition that makes us travel to the Rodin Museum - last days

You already know his greatest works, his muses, his way of representing love or hell... But did you know thatAuguste Rodin was also a great lover ofEgypt? The Rodin Museum unveils an impressive collection of sculptures, more than a thousand works drawing a portrait of Egypt, from the pre-Pharaonic era to the Arab era.

From October 18, 2022 to March 5, 2023, the Rodin Museum takes us into the sculptor's Dream of Egypt, a magnificent exhibition that showcases more than 400 newly restored objects. Sculptures, drawings, photographs, personal archives: these numerous pieces give us a glimpse of the artist's passion for these antiquities and this fascinating country.

The works on display also highlight the influence of Egyptianart and culture on the sculptor's work: in his way of representing bodies, in the lines, shapes, and subjects of his works, Auguste Rodin let this "Egyptian being" speak for itself, following him in all his projects.
