Dior Paris 30 Montaigne, boutique - museum, café and restaurant
The mythical Dior address at 30 Avenue Montaigne reopens its doors and reveals its new face. Renovated and redesigned, this is a new address that should seduce all fashion addicts but also fine gourmets in search of a gourmet café or a refined restaurant. [Read more]
The exhibition ends up being a genuine tribute to Christian Dior for before being a designer, he was a gallery owner and collector. After meeting the Lalannes in 1957, he sees the occasion to return to his first love by ordering art items to decorate his store at the corner of Avenue Montaigne and rue François 1er. A creative collaboration that will last, especially with a fabulous piece made for Dior iconic locations in 2007, and the jewelry collection for the 2017 spring-summer haute-couture show by Dior’s current art director Maria Grazia Chiuri, both designed by Claude Lalanne.
Today, the recently renovated Dior hotel particulier shines a light on the pair of French artists and invites visitors to discover their poetic chimeras.
A very beautiful exploration of the Lalannes’ oneiric universe!
