Enjoy a Belle Epoque Paris Christmas with the free exhibition curated by Hotel Madison. Running from December 12, 2022, to January 31, 2023.

Times change… but not so much. Over a century, Paris and its inhabitants have changed, or at least they seem to have changed… Go on a journey back in time, discovering Belle Epoque Paris with the Back to Paris 1900 exhibition. Hotel Madison invites you to enjoy the spirit of past Christmases with a lovely photo exhibition taking us back to a long-gone time.

This exhibition – open to all and free of charge – takes place in the hotel’s lobby and bar. There, you can admire 80 black and white photographs illustrating the Parisians’ lives in the early 20th century.

Rediscover the city’s landmarks a century ago, admire vintage outfits and cars, be amazed by unlike or fun situations… Go and discover the city you know so well that yet has changed so much in over a century.

To accompany these pictures, hotel Madison also displays postcards, magazines and original items to complete your journey back to the 1900’s.

If you happen to be near the Boulevard Saint-Germain, go and stop by Hotel Madison to enjoy this free and vintage exhibition shining a light on an era still fascinating us!

And to extend the experience, meet at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine displaying an incredible Art Déco exhibition.
