Japan's House of Culture invites us to admire the prowess of Paralympic athletes, with the free exhibition "Parasport in Japan, Yesterday and Today", on view from August 27 to September 13, 2024.

After the Olympic Games, it's the Paralympics ' turn to thrill us! And to accompany this new exhibition, the Maison de la Culture du Japon is offering us a brand-new exhibition, to be discovered free of charge from August 27 to September 13, 2024, for the duration of these Paralympic Games in Paris.

The cultural venue invites us to discover Para-sport in Japan, yesterday and today, an exhibition of photographs retracing the 22 Paralympic events organized in Tokyo for the 2021 Games. It's a fascinating retrospective that hides several messages... You can admire the talent, hard work and strength of these athletes through these images, but not only!

The Maison de la Culture du Japon is also showcasing technical innovations by Japanese companies to improve the specialized equipment and materials used by Paralympic athletes, and disabled athletes in general. These developments illustrate the new ways of thinking that are helping to build societies that are more inclusive and open to differences.

Through this free exhibition, the cultural center wishes to highlight its flagship innovations, and of course its athletes and their sporting and social ambitions. A unique exhibition not to be missed during the Paralympic Games in Paris!
