We love them a little, a lot, madly... But do we really know them? The Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie presents a major exhibition on dogs and cats, from February 17, 2025 to June 2026.

Ten years ago, the Cité des Sciences et de l' Industrie devoted an exhibition to our little four-legged companions. The Dogs & Cats exhibition returns to Paris in a revised and improved version, from February 17, 2025, until June 2026, to the delight of visitors of all ages!

Big or small, long- or short-haired, cuddly, playful or adventurous: cats and dogs have captured the hearts of mankind for thousands of years. Despite this long history of cohabitation, our favorite animals still hold a few secrets for us... The Cité des Sciences invites us to learn more about these animals, their intelligence, their emotions, the way they see the world...

This exhibition draws on recent ethological research (the study of animal behavior) to help us better understand cats and dogs. How do they perceive us? Do they really understand human languages? Are they gentler with children, can they play jokes, can they be left- or right-handed? Many preconceived ideas are challenged, creating a far more complex and evolved portrait of these little creatures. The tour also explores the differences and links between wild and domesticated animals.

Various interactive devices let us see the world through the eyes of dogs or cats, or walk in their paws to discover the world at their level.

Animal lovers, don't miss this fun and educational exhibition at the Cité des Sciences!
