Did you know that theEuropean Space Agency 's headquarters are located in Paris? Just renovated, it is now home to the Astrolabe, an innovative, educational and interactive space that will let you travel into space and into the heart of the ISS, alongside Thomas Pesquet, our national astronaut!"A place of scientific culture that presents ESA's activities in an entertaining way", as the organization describes it.
Equipped with virtual reality headsets, you'll be able to discover the lives of these incrodible space travelers, as well as visiting the Moon or admiring Saturn's rings, all free of charge, during an immersive experience. It's a chance to wander among the stars and planets, without needing a rocket! Open to the general public and schoolchildren all week long, this space aims to raise awareness of space among the younger generation, teaching them how space missions are organized, how satellites are used and how pollution is combated, but it's just as interesting for adults!
Other experiences also give you access to thousands of pieces of information about the world's regions in real time, thanks to a luminous interactive globe. What's the temperature of the earth and the ocean? Where is the most polluted air on our planet? Observe the data before your very eyes, and emerge from this exciting space with new knowledge in your head and stars in your eyes!
