A touch of Greece in the heart of Paris... The Hellenic community of Paris and the surrounding area invites you on a journey through time and introspection at the Maison de la Grèce with theexhibition Anthroporama, from January 18 to January 30, 2024. An exhibition that promises to be a place of confluence where art dialogues with history, culture and society, echoes of an ancient Greece as relevant today as ever.
The opening of this group show, scheduled for January 18 at 7pm, brings together three artists from different worlds: Fred Weinling, Myrto Monokandilou and Pierric Favret. Their works, as diverse as they are complementary, revolve around profound themes, exploring our ancient cultural heritage and contemporary questions about the human condition. At a time when humanity finds itself at a crucial crossroads, these artists invite us to reflect on our past, analyze our present and consider possible futures. Their creations are mirrors in which our doubts, hopes and perpetual quest for meaning are reflected.
Theexhibition also features an interactive and educational area, offering educational activities for young visitors. These activities, ranging from an introduction to artificial intelligence to illustration and drawing workshops, offer a unique opportunity for young minds to connect with art and the questions it raises. In this way, the Maison de la Grèce becomes a place of exchange, learning and reflection.
An invitation to travel through time and spirit, to rediscover our roots and look to the future. And an exhibition that is part of a process of questioning and reflection, perpetuating the philosophical heritage of ancient Greece. Shall we drop by the Maison de la Grèce?
