Celebrate the Year of China at the Musée Guimet : A festive and lively weekend

To mark the start of the Year of China, the Musée Guimet in Paris is transforming itself into a veritable showcase of Chinese culture, with superb artistic installations and a series of events that promise to immerse you in a unique cultural experience. From April 27 to 28, 2024, an inaugural program awaits you.

A monumental , poetic installation is unveiled. As soon as you arrive, a spectacular transformation of the museum's façade greets you. Draped in red tulle and embellished with impressive sculptures, this work by artist Jiang Qiong Er sets the scene for an immersion in contemporary Chinese art. Inside, the"Guardians of Time" installations captivate the eye, offering a fascinating journey between tradition and innovation, and highlighting essential 21st-century values inspired by millennia-old Chinese caves.
