This year, the Musée Guimet celebrates the richness of Chinese culture with a wide-ranging program: 4 exhibitions, exceptional installations and a superb cultural program in the auditorium: meetings, concerts, film cycles...
This Friday, May 3, the museum will welcome Guo Gan, the celebrated master of the erhu (the Chinese two-string violin), for a concert event offering an exceptional opportunity to see and hear live the avant-garde work of an artist with an international reputation!
The concert opens with the short experimental film T'ang Boogie, featured in the museum's exhibition dedicated to T'ang Haywen, with musical accompaniment by Guo Gan.
This is followed by 13 pieces featuring a dialogue between erhu, guzheng, Mongolian viol and guitar, piano or cello, all accompanied by the extraordinary voices of 6 French and Chinese singers.
An evening introduced and presented by T'ang Haywen specialist Philippe Koutouzis!
