For the 2nd edition, the Musée de la Grande Guerre offers a weekend dedicated to the Great War and literature on June 8 and 9.
The First World War had a profound effect on literature. This global event inspired a multitude of literary works, offering varied perspectives on horror, courage, loss and survival.
As if to mark history, the literature of the Great War plays a crucial role in preserving collective memory. It recalls sacrifice and suffering, and helps commemorate those who lived and died during the conflict.
Numerous comic book authors, novelists and film directors have drawn inspiration from this conflict to create works of fantasy, science fiction and fantasy, from the Swamp of the Dead to the Conquest of the Iron Throne, via Cimmeria to a galaxy far, far away...
