100% paper III: Hopare and Urban Signature's free street art exhibition in Paris, our photos

Attention street art fans ! Urban art invites itself once again to the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. For four days only, from Thursday January 9 to Sunday January 12, 2025, come and discover the new and third edition of the " 100% Paper " exhibition. Behind this collective installation is visual artist Hopare, with Urban Signature providing organizational support.

Hopare, whose real name is Alexandre Monteiro, is known for his sculptures and large-scale frescoes of female faces in France, Lisbon (Portugal), Tallinn (Estonia) and the Lofoten Islands (Norway). Meanwhile, Urban Signature, described as " France's leading bespoke street art company ", has been multiplying its exhibitions in Paris in recent years. Its latest installation in the capital?" Faites vos jeux ", free to view until January 10, 2025 at Le Shack.

So, what's on the agenda for this " 100% Paper III " exhibition in Paris this January? Around a hundred French and international artists in one and the same venue! Coming from different horizons, they have all worked on paper (cut paper, Indian paper, fine art paper...) to give birth to a series of original works exhibited (more than 300 works) in a large and beautiful gallery of about 350m², from January 9 to 12, 2025.

For " 100% Paper III ", Hopare and Urban Signature welcome a number of artists already present at the first two editions, including Caroline Karenine, Olivier Masmonteil, Nast 404, Stom 500, Abys, Nicolas Marciano and Monkeybird.

But the exhibition also unveils the work of some twenty talents taking part in " 100% Paper " for the very first time. Such is the case of Ross Gash, a graduate of the Melbourne School of Fine Arts. Very famous in his native Australia, Ross Gash has a passion for colorful paintings. Other newcomers include Moroccan artist Touils, tattoo artist Jean Ewen and visual artist Anne Féat-Gaiss. Hopare met all these new participants in their own studios.

Works by Ardif, Dawal, Ensemble Réel, Horss, Jo Di Bona, Levalet, Onemizer, Pez, Raf Urban, RNST, Seb Toussaint, Toctoc and Yoann Borsato are also on display, as of course are several works (around ten) by Hopare. Everyone contributed at least two creations, and some even more.

At the start of 2025, Hopare and Urban Signature return to Paris with " 100% paper III ", much to our delight! To top it all off, an ephemeral shop is planned, with limited editions on the menu, including an exclusive Hopare edition to be reserved only for the time of the exhibition, as well as goodies and creations to take away.

To discover this third edition of the exhibition, head to N°5 rue Bailly, in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, from January 9 to 12, 2025. And since admission is free, you really shouldn't miss it! Please note that the opening is scheduled for January 9 at 6pm. The gallery is then open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
