New little inhabitants have taken up residence at theParis Aquarium. But these fish are a little different from the ones you already know... Come and meet Namiko's Little Fishes, from May 26 to October 25 2024. This colorful exhibition is sure to delight young and old alike.
The exhibition runs the length of theaquarium 's tour route, and Japanese artist Namiko's creations can be admired throughout the aquarium. In all, over 200 original works, large and small, make up this original exhibition.
Namiko was given carte blanche for this exhibition: the artist takes us into her fascinating underwater world. Specializing in the illustration of marine life, Namiko produces highly detailed and colorful drawings of fish: she can reproduce over a hundred species thanks to a special technique. The artist assembles niboshi, small dried-up sardines, or fish eggs to create unique works.
The exhibition features a wide variety of marine animals. Along the way, you can admire framed paintings, adhesive-printed reproductions, projections and murals created on site by the artist.
Come and walk among Namiko's little fish and enjoy the world of theParis Aquarium, while admiring the works of a passionate and fascinating artist.
