Printmaking is a delicate art form, which generally refers to the printing of an engraving or the reproduction of a work of art using lithography or silkscreen. These techniques have been used by such great French and international artists as Albrecht Dürer, Francisco de Goya, Pablo Picasso, Rembrandt, Paul Gauguin, Hokusai, Hiroshige... to name but a few.
The Chambre Syndicale de l'Estampe, du Dessin et du Tableau has decided to showcase this art form at a fair open to all. The Paris Print Fair celebrates its fourth edition from March 27 to 30, 2025. For the occasion, the curious and art lovers are expected at the Réfectoire du Couvent des Cordeliers. This year, 25 French and international galleries have come together to highlight the great masters of printmaking.
This show is all about artists. Great painters and creators of previous centuries and contemporary artists are exhibited side by side in a rich and varied program, showing visitors all the richness and subtlety of these printmaking techniques.
All visitors are welcome, professionals and amateurs alike. The Paris Print Fair gives everyone the opportunity to admire special works, and to learn more about wood engraving, etching, drypoint, lithography... In color or black and white, printmaking comes in a wide range of formats!
