Christmas Masses are a special time of reflection in the great churches of Paris. Here is the program of celebrations scheduled for December 24 and 25, 2024.

The festivities begin at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, just reopened after years of restoration. On December 24, services are scheduled at 4pm, 6pm and 8pm, before a solemn vigil at 11pm and the traditional midnight mass. The following day, December 25, masses will be celebrated at 8.30am, 11am and 6pm, to prolong this unique atmosphere.

The Basilique du Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre also offers an exceptional setting for celebrations. On December 24, an early mass is scheduled for 6pm, followed by vespers at 6:30pm, a vigil at 11pm and midnight mass. On December 25, you can attend mass at 7am, 11am, 6pm and 10pm.

AtSaint-Sulpice church, in the 6th arrondissement, a family mass is scheduled for 6:30pm on December 24. A vigil will follow before midnight mass, celebrated at 11pm. On Christmas Day, services will be held at 7am, 9am, 11am and 6.30pm, bringing together the faithful and the curious in this majestic setting.

Not far away, at theMadeleine church, the celebrations are shaping up to be just as memorable. On December 24, an early mass is scheduled for 6pm. On December 25, you can attend masses at 10.30am and 6pm in this iconic church in the 8th arrondissement.

Saint-Eustache church, in the heart of Les Halles, will offer masses on December 24 at 6pm, 9pm and midnight. The following day, a solemn mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., offering a moment of meditation in this landmark of Gothic architecture.

On the Saint-Germain-des-Prés side, theSaint-Germain-des-Prés church offers a varied program, beginning on December 24 with a family mass in Spanish at 4pm, followed by a vigil at 6:30pm and a family mass at 7pm. A musical vigil will precede the night mass at 10:30pm. On Christmas Day, a mass at 11am and another at 7pm will punctuate the day, with a Christmas concert at 3:30pm.

For a more intimate atmosphere, head toSaint-Augustin church, where services will begin on December 24 at 5pm, 6:30pm and 8pm, before a vigil at 10:30pm and a solemn night mass at 11pm. On December 25, masses will be celebrated at 9am, 11am and 7pm.

Finally,Saint-Jean-Baptiste church in Belleville will welcome the faithful from December 24 for family masses at 5pm and 6:30pm, followed by a vigil and night mass at 9pm.
