The Botanical Village is back for another edition, this Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6, 2024. For a weekend, explore the Parc Floral and learn all about plants and nature, with free tours and workshops.

This weekend, October 5 and 6, we're off to the Parc Floral, one of the capital's largest and most beautiful parks, in the heart of the Chesnaie du Roy, to enjoy a weekend of botanical activities . The Village Botanique is back this year for a maximum of natural discoveries, with free workshops and guided tours for the whole family. On the program: two days of fascinating exchanges with institutions, partners and associations!

  • Lumberjack climbing workshop
  • Potting workshop for children
  • Aromatic plant workshop
  • Introduction to botanical drawing and painting (Sunday)
  • Introduction to botanical vocabulary (Sunday)

  • 2:00 pm: Le Jardin Botanique de Paris au fil du temps, évolutions & projets, led by Mr. Régis Crisnaire (Curator of the Jardin Botanique de Paris)
  • 3:00 pm: Jesuit missionaries as correspondents of the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (MNHN), led by Dr Dominique Evrard (Conservatoire des Collections Spécialisées CCVS)

  • Chemin de l'Évolution and plants native to the Paris Basin, with a visit to Jurassic Pavilion 14
  • Bonsai collection
  • Dahlia Conservatory

  • General visit of the Floral Park
