Whether you're a plant lover, interested in history or simply looking for a relaxing moment outdoors, this is the event for you! From emblematic gardens to the most original landscape creations, you'll be able to explore enchanting spaces, marvel at top-flight theme gardens, stroll along flower-filled pathways...
In theEssonne department, many gardens, large and small, public and private, are taking part in this year's Rendez-vous aux Jardins, including the house of Jean Cocteau, the famous author of Antigone! Located in Milly-la-Forêt, the house immerses you in the artistic world of this great French poet, writer and filmmaker. When you visit this emblematic house, you'll have the chance to discover where Cocteau created some of his most famous works! Indeed, the rooms are imbued with his creative spirit, with walls adorned with paintings, unusual furniture and inspiring objets d'art.
