One of the museums taking part in the Rendez-Vous aux Jardins is the Musée Jean-Jacques Rousseau in the town of Montmorency, in the Val d'Oise. Located in a small house in which the famous writer and philosopher stayed to escape the noisy capital, this museum, which has been awarded the Maison des Illustres label, follows in the footsteps of this literary figure.
