No more nuggets of unknown origin, La Pépite restaurant has decided to create its own French version, responsible, transparent and infinitely adaptable! In this little corner of the 9th arrondissement, the nuggets are homemade from free-range, GMO-free French chicken. Whether it's a box of 4, 6, 9 or 20 nuggets, a nugget sandwich, vegan nuggets or sweet nuggets, it's a real gold mine, on the spot or to take away!
Of course, the Pépite Classique, with its breaded ground chicken fillet with cornflakes, is a must! But the house also offers even more gourmet and spicy alternatives! The Mamma is the Italian nugget, with grana padano, basil and pine nuts, while the Ninja offers a more Asian version, with soy sauce and ginger. As for the Lance Flamme, the name says it all: it's not just for sensitive palates, with a base of several chillies and paprika! Here, even vegans can eat nuggets, thanks to the Brigitte Bardot, in a plant-based version.
For a change from a box of 6, the restaurant prepares sandwiches using their nuggets, in brioche bread! The sauces are homemade, as is the lemonade, and you can enjoy fries and seasonal vegetables on the side. For dessert, you can choose between chocolate croustites, a sweet version of the nugget, or panacotta.
We tested the vegan version, based on chickpeas, which is very complete and sufficiently spicy to avoid an overly vegetable taste. Crispy thanks to the cornflakes, it's a perfect alternative for those who prefer to avoid chicken! The Mamma is certainly the softest in the mouth, with its hint of Italy, and the Classique keeps its promise, tasty alongside quality fries. We had to take a little time out to enjoy the three chocolate croustites, which made our mouths water! As for the homemade lemonade, it's the perfect drink to accompany this healthier, more responsible meal, made in France.
